Palácio d'Ouro Café

An invitation to savor the flavors of Minas inside an 18th-century heritage site

The Palácio d'Ouro Café is a natural extension of the cultural experience offered by the Palácio d'Ouro Cultural Center. Located in the heart of the 18th-century architectural complex, it was designed to welcome visitors in an elegant, cozy environment perfectly integrated with the historical heritage.

Here, every pause transforms into contemplation.

Flavors that Celebrate Minas Gerais

More than a café, the Palácio d’Ouro Café is a space where the culinary traditions of Minas Gerais take center stage. Our menu highlights selected ingredients, heartfelt recipes, and the artisanal care that defines Minas’ unique sense of hospitality.

Among the house specialties, visitors will find:

  • Special cheese breads, always baked fresh;

  • Traditional Minas Gerais sweets;

  • Hot and iced beverages crafted with care;

  • Light options to accompany the view and the historic atmosphere.

Here, flavor, culture, and memory come together.

A Gathering Space

The Palácio d’Ouro Café is ideal for:

  • Welcoming groups after guided visits

  • Moments of rest in the gardens and viewpoints

  • Breaks during events, photo sessions, and recordings

  • Informal gatherings in a unique historic setting

With views of the surrounding nature and the Palace’s architectural complex, the café offers an inspiring and welcoming atmosphere.

Integration with the Palácio Experience

After exploring the Paschoal Mine, the mundéu, the collection, and the stories that span centuries, the Palácio d’Ouro Café invites visitors to stay a little longer and experience the heritage through the senses as well.

It extends the sense of wonder and reinforces the purpose of the Palace: to be a living, sensitive space dedicated to the memory of Minas Gerais.

Opening Hours
